Participants. Based on sample sizes in previous research on vicarious fear learning (Olsson et al., 2007) and vicarious extinction learning (Golkar et al., 2013), we planned to include 20 participants in the current study.Therefore, we recruited a total of 23 male, right-handed participants who were free from self-reported life-time psychiatric or neurological disease and medication.
